  • The City of Fort Worth is working with its partners at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Texas Department of Health and Human Services, and Tarrant County Public Health to closely monitor the COVID-19 outbreak. The City of Fort Worth’s COVID-19 page gives multiple updates on closures, multiple school district links, and information about the virus & prevention tips.   • If your employment has been affected by the coronavirus (COVID-19), apply for benefits either online at any time using Unemployment Benefits Services or by calling TWC’s Tele-Center at 800-939-6631 from  8 a.m.-6 p.m. Central Time Monday through Friday.
  • In keeping with social distancing guidelines and preventative health requirements, capacities at Fort Worth’s homeless shelters have been reduced.   • The SBA provides low-interest disaster loans to help businesses and homeowners recover from declared disasters.

  • Trinity Metro adapting services during COVID-19 outbreak Trinity-Metro-COVID-19-Adjustments
  • FWISD will remain closed and students will remain home until further notice. FWISD is also canceling all activities, including travel for both adults and children, through that time frame.
